National Wildlife magazine
Redesign of National Wildlife Federation's bi-monthly magazine. Brought in by new Editor Lisa Moore to engage with the staff and update the magazine's look to debut with NWF's 80th anniversary in early 2016. We referred to this as a "refresh" since we only adjusted the content slightly. (A full "redesign" is when both the content and the design are changed, such as The Washington Post Sunday magazine redesign.)
A highlight of the project was working with NW's staff, who were very engaged in the process of honing the new look. For a number of weeks, we met regularly and reviewed each iteration of the design, discussing concepts, and various approaches. Their feedback and reactions was invaluable to creating a final design which met the reader's needs.
